About this property
The Anta Muerta estate is located in the Orán department, Salta province, and has an area of 1,500 hectares. The northern boundary is formed by the Iruya and Pescado rivers; the rest of the estate borders the Abra Grande, San Ignacio, and El Oculto S.A. estates (east, west, and south, respectively). Access to Anta Muerta estate is via National Route 50 until reaching the town of Aguas Blancas. The entry is made through the Abra Grande estate: from there, one travels 13 kilometers along a dirt road to a fork; then, to the left, about 300 meters to access the old site of the Pescado river. Next, a 2-kilometer journey leads to the oil pumping station, and once there, another 5 kilometers to the estate entrance, crossing the Pescado river. Preliminary feasibility of CO2 storage capacity and its commercialization in the carbon credit market in the Anta Muerta estate forest (Salta). The estate is suitable for forestry investments, mainly due to the microclimate conditions and the presence of species that are already difficult to find in Argentina—cedar, walnut, capacho, quina, among others—that abound in the estate and that, having not been exploited—unlike other fields in the region—constitute an abundant inventory. It can also be designated for crops—beans, soybeans, sugarcane, and corn, primarily for agro-industrial purposes—as well as for tourism and the generation of green bonds. The Anta Muerta estate is close to Bolivia.
