Dead Ant Field - Cadastre

The Anta Muerta estate is located in the Orán department, Salta province, and has an area of 1,500 hectares. The northern boundary consists of the Iruya and Pescado rivers; the rest of the estate borders the Abra Grande, San Ignacio, and El Oculto S.A. estates (to the east, west, and south, respectively). Access to the Anta Muerta estate is via national route 50 to the town of Aguas Blancas. Access is made through the Abra Grande estate: from there, it is 13 kilometers along a dirt road to a fork; then, to the left, about 300 meters to the entrance of the old Pescado river deposit. Next, it is a further 2 kilometers to the oil pumping station, and once there, 5 more kilometers to the estate entrance, crossing the Pescado river. Preliminary feasibility of CO2 storage capacity and its commercialization in the carbon credit market in the Anta Muerta estate forest (Salta). The estate is suitable for forestry investments, mainly due to the microclimate conditions and the presence of species that are already hard to find in Argentina —cedar, walnut, capacho, quina, among others— that abound in the estate and, since they have not been exploited —unlike other fields in the region—, make up an abundant inventory. Additionally, it can be allocated to crops —beans, soybeans, sugar cane, and corn, mainly for agro-industrial purposes— as well as tourism and the generation of green bonds. The Anta Muerta estate is close to Bolivia.
